Shanghai: The Temples

By far, one of my favorite parts of the trip was exploring the temples.

Even in a big, noisy city, there was a peaceful and quiet aura around the temples.

We visited 3 in total. The first was outside Yuyan Gardens. We were fortunate enough to be there while the monks were chanting:

Next, we went to the Jingan Temple. The beauty, architecture, details and intricacies were astounding:

The final temple was Long Hua. This was more on the outskirts of the city and not as touristy. Once again, I was blown away by how ornate, adorned and intricate the details were:

I hope you enjoyed reading about my trip. I feel there is a million things I left out, but I do not want to babble on and on either. Please let me know if you have any questions about Shanghai!
